A new survey has revealed that more than a third of NHS hospitals in the country funded homeopathy treatments.

Of the 104 hospitals that responded, 32 said that they are still funding such medicines while 10 admitted that they had initially funded it but ceased to do so after arriving at the conclusion that such medicines were not effective.
While the BMA believes that there is no evidence of homeopathy being effective, the Society of Homeopaths disagrees with the conclusion and says that homeopathy treatments are very effective and come with no side effects that are associated with general medicines.
