A man in Kentucky has come up with an unusual way to raise money for African kids, by deciding not to wear any socks or shoes for one year.

A man in Kentucky has come up with an unusual way to raise money for African kids, by deciding not to wear any socks or shoes for one year.
Richard Hudgins, who works as a hair stylist, said that till now he's gone barefoot to the gym, to drop his daughter at school and to his workplace, the Washington Times reported.

He said that his goal is to raise 25,000 dollars and so far, he's managed to raise about 4,000 dollars.

He said that the money from his efforts will provide for about 800 children in Narok, Kenya.
