International Yoga Day 2015: Isha Foundation Offers Free Sessions For a Month
Commemorating first International Yoga Day on June 21, the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore – a city in southern part of India - has announced specially designed yoga sessions for people free this month.
The foundation had specially designed a series of accessible and doable capsules for general public and these 5-minute practices are centered on six themes: health, peace, love, success, joy and inner exploration.

Each theme offers a simple practice that can make a significant difference to the well being of the practitioner. Around 35,600 volunteers had been trained to conduct sessions to transmit these practices across the globe.

The ground events would be conducted in one lakh locations throughout the globe, targeting 50 million to 100 million people.

On the International Yoga Day, Isha’s head Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev will be initiating thousands of people into simple yogic practices at YMCA Grounds, Chennai.

The foundation would also hold celebrations at various other locations.
