Fear Of Panic Attack Makes Woman Spend 4 Months in Hospital Car Park

Crippled by her fear of impending panic attacks, a 30-year-old woman spent 4 months in her car at a hospital car parking.

Lynsey was too scared to move and slept in her car so that she could remain near medical help all the time.

She managed her cleaning business using a laptop and mobile.

"The thought of driving home was too terrifying. I knew I had to stay as it was the only place I felt safe," Lynsey said.

Lynsey, from Wishaw, Lanarks, had her first panic attack in October 2009 when she was driving home from work, reports News Of The World.

"My heart started hammering in my chest. I pulled over and called 999," she said.
