The researchers also found that the bone density was back to normal levels in less than a day once they resumed their drinking habits.
“Drinking moderately as part of a healthy lifestyle that includes a good diet and exercise may be beneficial for bone health, especially in postmenopausal women”, lead researcher Professor Urszula Iwaniec said. The study has been published in the journal Menopause.
