The Cuban-made equipment, Digital ANGIODIN PD-3000 detects ailments like arrhythmia, arterial failure, erectile sexual dysfunction and micro and macro vessel failures at an early stage, Prensa Latina news agency reported Tuesday.

The equipment is simple in design and useful for the vascular haemal-dynamic laboratories.

According to the National Information Agency, the island nation has exported this equipment to Venezuela, and is all set for its production by the Medical Biophysical Centre headquartered in Santiago de Cuba.

The centre is also working to widen the diagnostic possibilities of ANGIODIN PD-3000 so as to increase its usefulness.
