The Drinkaware Trust has issued a warning that having a recycle bin full of alcoholic bottles may be a warning sign that the spirits are damaging your health.
The warning was issued after a new poll discovered that Brits like to drink more at home than at pubs, bars and restaurants. The survey of 4,400 people found that most of them drank twice the amount of alcohol at home rather than outside of their houses.
Moreover some one in six worried about the amount they drank at home after examining the number of bottles deposited in the recycle bin.
The Trust has launched a poster campaign with slogans like "Big party at the weekend?" and a bottle bank with the message "Do you come here often?" in order to tackle this issue.
