About 14 people have lost sight in Maharashtra after cataract operations. Further action will be decided on the basis of a detailed report sought by the Center.
The Center has sought a detailed report from the Maharashtra Government into alleged botched eye surgeries in which 14 cataract patients lost their eyesight.
Expressing his grief over the incident, Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda said, "About 14 people have lost sight in the state after cataract operations. Further course of action will be decided on the basis of the report."
