Ariosa’s Harmony Prenatal Test to be Available in US and Canada

California based diagnostics company, Ariosa Diagnostics has revealed that its Harmony Prenatal Test will be distributed by Laboratory Corporation of America in the United States and Canada.

The company added that Harmony Prenatal Test will be available in more than a thousand patient service center and can be used to detect whether there are fetal trisomies in maternal blood.The test is conducted by analyzing free floating DNA fragments known as cell-free DNA (cfDNA) which enter the mother’s bloodstream from the fetus.
