Mr. Antony Jacob, Chief Executive Officer of Apollo Munich said that Apollo was the first health insurance company in the country to bring the policy without any sub-limits and 100% lifelong coverage.

The major features of the policy are that if the entire insured sum is used during the year, the full amount will be restored back without any paper work or any extra charges. For a no-claim year, the coverage will increase by 50% next year and will double the year after without any paper work or any extra charges. The period for pre- and post-hospitalization has been increased from 90 to 180 days.

The other features of ‘Optima Restore’ include 100% lifelong renewal, no claim-based underwriting, no sub-limits and no restrictions on room rent.
