Health workers at NHS Lincolshire are chewing on the results of the survey conducted at schools to evaluate the quality of packed lunch brought by children to school.
The survey was prompted after teachers in Linconshire found that a child had carried a smartie sandwich for lunch. They felt it is high time to look into the eating habits of children.
The survey revealed that kids were most often consuming chocolates, crisps and sweets for lunch instead of consuming a balanced diet. It is no surprise that the place is known for its highest rates of child obesity.
