Students from the Exeter University have bagged 50,000 dollars at the Microsoft sponsored technology competition for developing an app that allows users to play music on an infinite number of devices

Edward Noel, Rob Parker, Alex Bochenski and Jonathan Neuman together developed the app which has been tested on 75 devices so far and will be made available across all platforms in August.
The app will get its biggest test at the end of August when it will be showcased at a performance at the Reading Festival of up to 80,000 people.
Parker said that with this technology, hyper-local social networks can be created and added that it is the first practical use of this technology and they are excited about its future applications, the report added.
