 3-Day Yoga Camp by Delhi Police to Celebrate International Day of Yoga

June 21 has been declared as the International Day of Yoga by the United Nations General Assembly. Nationwide events will mark celebrations of the first International Yoga Day. Delhi Police is also organizing a three-day yoga camp for its personnel and their families as part of International Yoga Day celebrations.

The police force, which has over 80,000 personnel, is organizing the camp in collaboration with the Art of Living foundation. Special Commissioner of Police (Welfare) S. Vasudeva Rao said, "As many as 20 police colonies located across the city are being covered. Districts and units of deputy commissioners of police are overseeing the arrangements at each venue. This is expected to contribute to improved health awareness and fitness among the personnel and their families."
