Mitochondria Stimulation

Mitochondria Stimulation

Mitochondria produce most of the cells supply of ''chemical energy'' in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). If the mitochondria is lacking in essential nutrients the implications are far reaching and can lead to health problems. Less than optimal functioning of the mitochondria affects the production of RNA which act as messengers for DNA impacting a series of chemical reactions needed for good health.

It thus becomes important to feed the mitochondria with specialized nutrients to help produce energy and perform its functions. CoQ10 (coenzyme Q10), resveratrol, alpha lipoic acid (ALA) are some nutrients which act as stimulants/food for the mitochondria.
