Q: Who is the doctor who manages transient ischemic attack?

A: Ans It is the neurologist who manages patients with transient ischemic attack. If any of the symptoms are experienced, it is mandatory to get to a hospital for emergency medical care first.

A: The risk is estimated by a physician using the well validated ABCD method which includes the Age, Blood pressure, Clinical symptoms and Duration and presence of Diabetes.

The risk is 10-15% in the first three months with most events occurring in the first two days.
