Breast self-exam (BSE): A method for checking one''s own breasts for changes in the way they look or the way they feel.

Cancer: A term for diseases in which abnormal cells divide without control. Cancer cells can invade nearby tissues and can spread through the bloodstream and lymphatic system to other parts of the body.

Radiation Treatment: Using ionizing radiation like gamma rays to treat cancer.

Chemotherapeutic Agent: A drug used to treat cancer.
