Side effect(s) of Triamcinolone Hexacetonide

   Genitourinary
- Excretion of glucose into the urine, have excess facial and body hair in women, menstrual irregularities, growth suppression in pediatric patients.

   Gastrointestinal
- Abdominal distention, bowel/bladder dysfunction, elevation in serum liver enzyme levels, liver enlargement, increased appetite, nausea, inflammation of pancreas, peptic ulcer and ulcerative esophagitis.

   Metabolic
- Fluid retention.

   Musculoskeletal
- Bone death of femoral and humeral heads, charcot-like arthropathy, loss of muscle mass, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, fracture of long bones, tendon rupture, vertebral compression fractures.

   Central Nervous System
- Convulsions, depression, emotional instability, headache, stroke, sleeplessness, mood swings, nerve disease, tingling, personality changes, psychic disorders.

   Eye
- Bulging of the eye, increased eye pressure, cataracts, rare instances of blindness.

   Miscellaneous
- Abnormal fat deposits, decreased resistance to infection, hiccups, uneasiness, and moon face, weight gain.

Other Precautions :

Avoid excess dosage.
