How it should be taken
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth with food.
Dosage & When it is to be taken
PO- The recommended dose is 160mg, once daily for the first 21 days of each 28-day cycle.

Why it is prescribed (Indications)
This medication is a kinase inhibitor, prescribed for metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC) in patients who have been previously treated with fluoropyrimidine- oxaliplatin-and irinotecan-based chemotherapy. It works by helping to stop cancer cells from growing.
Warnings and Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of bleeding problems, high blood pressure, heart, liver, or kidney diseases, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking this medication.
Patient may develop with increased risk of Reversible Posterior Leukoencephalopathy Syndrome (RPLS). If it is so consult with your doctor immediately.
Store it at controlled room temperature (15 to 30°C).
