It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth, with or without food.
It also comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein or muscle.
Tablet- Adults: 100 to 300 mg in divided doses.
IV/IM- 1 to 4 mL is repeated every 3 hours.

Capsule- Adults: 150 mg 2 times per day. The dose may be increased to 150 mg 3 times or 300 mg 2 times per day.Tablet- Adults: 100 to 300 mg in divided doses.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
