The combination comes in the form of a tablet to be taken orally by mouth either with food or on an empty stomach.
Dosage & When it is to be taken
The recommended dose of the combination includes ledipasvir 90mg and sofosbuvir 400mg to be taken once daily for a period of 8 to 24 weeks based on the patient’s condition and the genotype of the hepatitis C virus.
When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
The ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir combination should not be used in patients who are allergic to the drugs, or with the use of prescription medicines or nutritional supplements that may cause side effects.
