How to Take Ibutilide and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- Initial dose: For patients weighing >= 60 Kg: 1 mg administered slowly over 10 minutes infusion. For patients weighing < 60 Kg: 0.01 mg/kg administered slowly over 10 minutes infusion.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

It is contraindicated in patients who are taking itraconazole, prolonged QT interval and hypersensitivity.
