How to Take Cytomegalovirus Immune Globulin and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- The maximum recommended total dosage per infusion is 150 mg Ig/kg.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with selective immunoglobulin A (IgA) deficiency, and known hypersensitivity.
