How to Take Acetaminophen and Codeine and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet,capsule and liquid to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- Per tab contains paracetamol 500 mg and codeine phosphate 8 mg: 1-2 tabs 4-6 hourly. Max: 4-doses/24 hr.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Acetaminophen and Codeine

Acetaminophen and codeine is a combination of non-opiate and opioid (opium-like sleep inducing) analgesics used to treat patients with fever, headache and helps to suppress the cough symptoms by acting on the cough center in the brain.
