Simon Cowell Has No Sympathy For Britney Spears Mental Health Problems
New York, 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell has no sympathy for troubled singer Britney Spears and says singers' recent breakdowns and stints in rehab are 'fashionable' and 'indulgence'.

Newsweek.com quoted him as saying: 'It's very fashionable to be in a rehab. This whole thing is a total indulgence. Spears and (Robbie) Williams need to get a grip. We've allowed these people to feel sorry for themselves. I don't know what's going on in Spears' head but my attitude is I couldn't care less. She should go back and live with her mum for six months.'

Cowell recommends Spears spend time with people who have real problems.

He added: 'I went to a deprived part of the world recently and saw a set of conditions that people live in that are beyond belief. So, when I hear about the Williams and the Spears going into rehab I think, 'I'll tell you what rehab is. Go to where I just went, where people really are suffering and then you'll see just how good your life is'.'

I have to agree with Simon Cowell. The media needs to pay more attention to the real problems in the world like third world hunger, poverty, AIDS ect. Instead of troubled celebrities who need to get their act right. I feel sorry for Britney, truly, but she needs to sort herself out and start acting like a grown up by being responsible enough to get help.

Hi, My name is Bob Murphy. I am in the process of organising a World healing day, it is a project to buy up land in the Amazon rain forest to stop its destruction. I HAVE ASKED BRITNEY SPEARS TO BE PATRON OF THE WORLD HEALING DAY. I wanted to be the first and maybe the only person to do something positive to help Britney, to give her something to focus on, to gain self respect. Will you run a story on the subject. I have contacted every media on the net, one will run the story the others will wish they had. Regards Bob Murphy. WHD organiser

Britney needs professional help, but it remains to be seen if she will get it before she self-destructs
