How to Take Spironolactone and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult- PO- The recommended dose range is 50 to 400mg/day for 3 to 4 weeks.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with anuria (absence of urination), and significant impairment of kidney function.

Drug Name : Spironolactone

This medication is a potassium-sparing diuretic, prescribed for hyperaldosteronism, low potassium levels, and for edema (fluid retention) caused by various conditions.
