Overseas Trained Nurses To Be Allowed To Retrain For Scottish Jobs
Overseas-trained nurses will be given 5,000 to retrain themselves to work in the NHS in Scotland. Health minister Andy Kerr said that the Scottish Executive had put aside 1.25 million over two years on this plan.

This plan will be directed at nurses who are trained outside Europe and are not licensed to practice in Scotland, he added.
