She is growing stronger by the day, doctors of attending on her said. She is recovering in a hospital in Ahmedabad in western India.The little champion - who weighed 1.4 kg at birth in the seventh month - may still look fragile, but her looks seem to defy her strength to fight back.
The little girl is being breastfed for the past one week now. On Monday, she could be seen flexing her frail arms and legs actively as she yawned leisurely!
"Her reflexes are very good," attending paediatrician at Rajasthan Hospital Dr Raj Kumar told Times of India. In fact, doctors are now considering her discharge from the hospital.
"Whether it will be, before or after Holi, we will take a decision in the next couple of days," said paediatrician Dr Gautam Jain.
The child’s parents, Bhoori and Prabhuram who belong to Swaroopgunj in Rajasthan, have still not named her.
