3M has introduced a new app, the 3M Mobile Physician that is aimed to help physicians and insurance companies with accurate documentation of patient information.

This breakthrough multi-tasking mobile technology helps to manage a doctor’s daily schedule, review patient information, dictate notes and to record accurate charges. It is a composite unit of four software applications: Mobile Patient Lists to plan and organize the day; Mobile Rounds to view vital patient information and lab reports; Mobile Dictation to record and transmit spoken information to a patient's file; and Mobile Charge Capture for selecting the correct billing codes.
