New Device Tracks Hormone and Basal Body Temperature to Predict Best Time to Conceive
When is the best time to get pregnant? Researchers at a startup company introduces a new system which helps know when to have sex if you want to get pregnant.
The system calculates the best time based on the basal body temperature and the presence of particular hormone (Luteinizing hormone).

A thermometer and a testing module are the main parts of the system. These parts are connected to the matching app for data transfer of the readings.

The company in its website noted that, “By charting basal body temperature (BBT) regularly, Welltwigs will confirm ovulation (or a lack of ovulation) determining your fertility pattern. Your BBT is your lowest body temperature in a 24-hour period and is normally taken before you get out of bed in the morning.”

There are already similar products that track the basal body temperature, but the Welltwigs seems to be the only one that also includes Luteinizing hormone tracking to aid in prediction.

The system is not yet available for purchase, but you can already download the iOS app and try it out on its own.
