Most Severe Case of Anorexia Dies Weighing 4.5st

Thirty one year old Kate Chilver, of Ealing, West London had been a victim of anorexia for 16 years. She passed away recently at The Vincent Square Clinic. At the time of death she weighed just four-and-a-half stone. This is by far the most severe case of anorexia seen by Doctors.

Kate was put under the care of an eating disorder unit since she was 15 years old. Sadly, she did not respond to medication. She could not go through psychotherapy sessions as she was always eager to exercise.

Kate had begun to show symptoms of eating disorder when she was 12 years old.
