India Sensitive About Nature, Conversing Nature Important in Indian Tradition: Modi

Environmental pollution is one of the greatest problems that the world is facing today. Global efforts to tackle this grave problem are on. At the inauguration of the two-day conference of state environment and forest ministers at Vigyan Bhawan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "Conserving nature is an important aspect of the Indian tradition and we have no right to exploit it. We have grown up in those traditions where nature is worshiped and where conserving nature is very important."

Prime Minister Modi said, "India is one of the most sensitive countries about nature. Per person carbon emission in India is very less. India has practiced the concepts of recycling and re-using for a long time. We have not borrowed it from outside."
