
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday ordered a fresh probe
into the alleged medical negligence by doctors of Post Graduate Medical
Institute of Medical Science (PGIMS), Rohtak into the treatment of former
Haryana chief minister Hukam Singh.
A high-level committee
comprising additional chief secretary, Medical Education and Research, RP
Chander and director, Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal Dr Surender
Kashyap was constituted to look into the matter.
Incidentally, the constitution of the panel comes just two days after Haryana Director General (Medical Education) Pradeep Kasni submitted his report to Health Minister Anil Vij in which he had recommended suspension of officiating director Rohtas Yadav and senior professor Dhruv Chaudhary for lapses in both treatment and administration.
