Chennai welcomes a revolutionary surgical solution for Gastroenterology with the introduction of the GERD X equipment at MedIndia Hospital. The GERDx system (G-SURG GmbH, Seeon-Seebruck, Germany) was used to accomplish an endoscopic full-thickness plication. The GERDx device, which was developed by a company that acquired the Plicator technology, uses hydraulic components for control.
