
Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra flagged off a rally here today to spread environment awareness.
Around a thousand school children took part in the rally named 'Save Nature Rally-08, which was organised by a private television channel.

The rally started off from Sahid Samarag and concluded at Badi Choppad near Hawa Mahal, a distance of five kilometers
Talking to reporters, Bindra said preserving the environment is every citizen's responsibility.
"It is for a noble cause to save nature and it is the duty of every citizen in the country to do something for nature in any small way to stop pollution and save the nature," said Bindra.
Bindra did India proud by winning a gold medal in the 10 m Air Rifle event at the recent Beijing Olympics.
