Health authorities in Isle of Man are organizing an event in order to provide more information regarding eating disorders. The Department of Social Care revealed that the event will be organized next week as part of the Eating Disorders Awareness Week. The officials added that information regarding symptoms of eating disorders and the medical help available in treating the condition will be provided. "There will be a variety of information available to view and to take away, such as understanding eating disorders and tips for parents, families, siblings and friends. There will also be information for any professional working with a person who has an eating disorder", a spokesperson for social care said.
