New research has pointed out that the side exposed to UV rays while driving increases the risk of skin cancer on the exposed side.

To verify whether the side exposed to the sun while driving was vulnerable to skin cancer, research among Australians showed that precancerous growth occurred more often on the right, and driving here is on the right side.
Researchers recommend that in the hot summer months, it is better to keep the windows rolled up as most of the UV rays will be blocked by the glass. Sunscreen lotions also offer added protection.
