 Biotronik Announces Launch of New Heart Stimulator Qubic Stim

German biomedical technology company Biotronik has announced the launch of its new heart stimulator Qubic Stim for the use in cardiac catheterization procedures.

The company said that Qubic Stim will be replacing previous generations of its universal heart stimulator (UHS). The Qubic Stim is the smallest device developed by Biotronik, half the size of its predecessors, and comes with both touchscreen and regular button controls and includes all the essential features from previous device generations.

"Qubic Stim represents an excellent compilation of features that have been developed over three decades, and really takes physicians' daily needs into account. We are proud to offer the first in a new series of electrophysiology external devices with enhanced user friendliness", Biotronik's Christoph Böhmer said.
