The eight-day camp is being organized in collaboration with a charitable trust called Yoga Prabha Bharati (Seva Sanstha) Trust in Mumbai. The camp will be held every day from 6 pm to 8.30 pm from April 27 at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga.

Naik said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been invited to attend the eight-day camp. Yoga camp is organized especially for parliamentarians as they have a very stressful life and important responsibilities. Once the parliamentarians understand the importance of yoga and mediation, they can communicate to the masses as well.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the world community to celebrate yoga at the international level in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2014. As many as 170 Nations supported Modi's proposal and the United Nations declared June 21 as International Yoga Day in December 2014.
