Alarm Clock to Shock You Awake
A 19-year old Indian engineering student named Sankalp Sinha has created an alarm clock that literally jolts you awake by sending a few milli volts of electricity through your body.
The singNshock alarm may seem like any other alarm clock but its snooze button is coated with aluminum so that when you press it to silence the clock, it sends an electric pulse enough to trigger neurological activity in your brain and wakes you up.

“The shock button on the top is aluminum coated. When the user presses the button in order to stop the alarm, it conducts an electric shock pulse of a few milli volts triggering neurological functions”, Sinha wrote on his website.

Apart from performing the role of an alarm clock, singNshock also acts as a music player, storing up to 32GB of data and comes with a touchscreen interface. Sinha revealed that the product is still at a concept stage and he is looking to team up with investors and manufacturers to start production.
