Brits Believe They are Ripped Off by Opticians
Almost half of the adult population in Britain feels that they are being ripped off by opticians when they look to buy glasses, a new survey reveals.
According to the survey conducted by Glasses Direct, more than 20 million Britons do not buy glasses to correct their vision because of the high prices of the products and only agree to buy one when their eyesight gets worse, while more than 65 percent feel that they were ripped off when they bought their glasses.

A recent survey carried out by Sight Care Group revealed that nearly 7.5 million women in Britain have not purchased glasses even though they are aware that their vision is not 100 percent.
