How to Take Dicycloverine Hydrochloride and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet, capsule, and suspension to take by mouth, with or without food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- The recommended dose is 10-20 mg 3 times/day.
IM- 20 mg 4 times/day for 1-2 days.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with intestinal obstruction, myasthenia gravis, glaucoma, and infants less than 6 months old.

This medication is an antispasmodic, prescribed for gastrointestinal tract spasm.
