How to Take Choriogonadotropin Alfa and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection, subcutaneous 250 mcg 1 day after the last dose of follicle-stimulating agent.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: Single 250-mcg dose when optimal stimulation of follicular growth is achieved.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), primary ovarian failure, uncontrolled thyroid and adrenal dysfunction, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroid uterine tumors, pregnant and breastfeeding women.
