To be held over two days starting October 30, 2015, the main agenda of KHT 2015 will be to make Kerala the hub of medical tourism in the country by 2020. After KHT was launched, hospitals in Kerala reported 30-40% increase in the arrival of medical tourists.

E.M. Najeeb, an official representing KHT, said, "KHT 2015 would highlight the emerging trends, opportunities and challenges in the Indian health tourism arena, discuss preparedness of Indian hospitals and will be a congregation of major hospitals, health insurance companies, policy makers, tourism promotion boards, health travel and tourism operators and international institutions for promotion of health tourism."
