A new University of Cincinnati study has revealed that men in general take a keen interest in appearing well-groomed but did not think much of the term, "metrosexual," except that it was just a stereotype.
Interview with men in three major U.S. cities: New York, San Francisco and Cincinnati, about what they feel about what metrosexual actually implies revealed the contradictory opinions men had about the word.
There were both negative and positive connotations to the word. Majority of men thought the word referred to men who were well-dressed and well-groomed.
The study also showed how the word 'metrosexual' was slowly fading in its usage.
