Cool Cats? Not Any More, as Stress Grips These Felines
They can no longer be called cool cats. Lazy and solitude loving creatures, cats, seem to be a stressed out lot.
A recent research has revealed that city life is not a piece of cake for cats and turns out to be quite stressful.

According to an expert on cats, John Bradshaw, narrow congested streets and smaller houses have resulted in altering the behavior of cats. Since cats love space and freedom, they are unable to adjust to the changes of modern day.

Cats are falling ill and exhibiting some of the stress-related problems, much like humans. Cats end up fighting amongst themselves, portray aggression as a way of relieving the pent up stress. Skin problems among them are also on the rise.

Owners must become sensitive to the needs of cats. “They think the more cats the merrier – five cats good, six cats better. But the truth is that the more you have, the more the difficulties escalate. Two cats don’t have a party, they have a fight, and then they have a stand-off, which can last until one dies,” John said.
