How to Take Nafcillin Sodium and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- The usual dosage for adults is 500 mg every 4 hours. For severe infections, 1 g every 4 hours is recommended.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients who are taking tetracycline antibiotics; known hypersensitivity.
