Also known as aubergine and brinjal is a popular low calorie vegetable.

Slices of eggplant rubbed gently in a circular motion on freckles can lighten them in 15 days when used regularly.

Cover a wart with a piece of eggplant and tape it down with a piece of plaster and leave overnight for 2 weeks. The wart will fall off.

Make a paste of eggplant with plain yogurt and apply on face as a mask for 20 minutes – age spots will fade away and the complexion glows.
