Mastitis - Glossary

Hematogenous route: Originating in or spread by the blood.

Lymphatic system: The interconnected system of spaces and vessels between body tissues and organs by which lymph circulates throughout the body.

Antioxidants: A natural substance, which has the capacity to absorb free radicals in the cell and protect the body from oxidation damage.á

Interleukin: It is a lymphokine that promotes macrophages and killer T cells and B cells and other components of the immune system.
