A British government advisor reviewing work fitness tests said that they were “patchy” and added that many people who were too sick were being denied benefits due to inaccurate assessments. Professor Malcolm Harrington said that he has reviewed the work fitness test, which analyzes the mental and physical fitness of the workers, for over 13 weeks and said that some of the genuinely disabled claimants have suffered from the inaccurate results.
“There are certainly areas where it's still not working and I am sorry there are people going through a system which I think still needs improvement”, he said.
