
A new survey has found that many Chinese men have intimate female friends to confide their feelings.
According to Yangtze Evening News, Sichuan province tops the list as 74 percent of men have close female friends, China Daily reported.

Despite their toughness, men have a need to confide their feelings, the paper said, quoting Gong Haiyan, head of Jiayuan.com, China's leading online dating website, which conducted the survey.
At the same time, more than 60 percent of women said they have close male friends.
The survey also said that women tend to be more jealous of their spouses' intimate friends.
